Oxycodone production halted

Ive been told that the production of oxycodone(dont know what formulation or release) is being halted/postponed by the government due to the public's abuse of the drug. Of course the other reps like Exalgo are loving this. Anybody else hear this?

It is Darvocet that was halted.

and Darvon and Darvon Compound and generic propoxyphene napsylate and generic propoxyphene hydrochloride. New study demonstrates electrocardiac aberrations even in normal doses. Xanadyne and all generics will cease production. The little old ladies taking 6-8 Darvocets per day for 40 years as prescribed by their octogenerian family physician will be in mourning but their livers will be rejoicing.
