Hi there!

I'm a South African graduate due to write my AMC step 1 in November this year. What is the availability of paediatric training posts available in Australia like? I realise that I'll be 2nd in line compared to local Aus graduates and as a OTD but I'm flexible and don't really need to be in a central big city hospital. I know that paediatrics there requires 3 years of basic and 3 years of advanced training. Are RMO rotations required/preferred or is it possible to get a registrars post fairly easily? Any recommendatons, advice would be much appreciated.

Mae
