What if your work experience in the clinical setting is all paid - and you have virtually no ECs?

As a nontrad, I'm facing this. I am hoping that my work as a phlebotomist and EMT will help me get clinicals, but work and school together don't leave me much time. I have a casual social life that does not revolve around being pre-med, and I see these people for dinner/a movie/something about once a week; they are my lifeline.

Otherwise, ECs consist of trying to stay awake through CSI on Thursday nights.

I am largely an ignorant person and I don't have an answer for you.

That having been said, I think it's more important that you gain familiarity with the profession of medicine than that it comes in any particular form. If your life situation necessitates that your experience is paid, I think that only speaks well of your motivation and character.

I am a dude who has to pay the bills, too. Right on.
