Medical Paid deposit for DO school, but on waitlist at MD school - what will happen if I get accepted from waitlist?

Hello to whoever read this,

I have paid the seat deposit for a DO school that I have been accepted at, while still being on the waitlisted at an MD school. I would choose this MD school if I come off their waitlist but I will I face any consequences from the DO school (given that I paid their seat deposit).

Technically, I am only holding one acceptance offer that I accepted but I am wanting to keep my options open for MD school.

Please advise me if I am doing anything wrong?

As long as you only hold one acceptance, you will be fine. If your tuition is not refundable, so be it.
