Pain Fellowship Application submission

I have been reading the posts on this forum and it seems that people are applying for the pain fellowship from Jan- March sometime and still receiving interviews. I will be applying this year, but the ERAS submission start date is December 1st. From those who have applied recently, is it best to apply on the first day? Do programs only start reviewing applications after January? Thanks

I applied last year in mid February. Got interviews from Feb-July. My last interview was at the end of August. Its a pretty long drawn out process.

I would recommend just finishing everything and being ready once it opens. It can only help you to be early.

Applied in mid March. Got interviews March to July. Very happy with the level of programs that offered interviews.
