I spent almost the whole day entering post-secondary experiences but I could enter only 8. It keeps on crashing whenever I choose a category or click on a country.

To those who finished AMCAS already, how long did you spend on this section?

Also, do you think 15 experiences is too little? I am even trying to shrink it down to 10 by combining some experiences. This AMCAS thing is just pissing me off.

"This AMCAS thing is just pissing me off."

You are not alone there buddy!!! 😀

I have spent half the day just proofreading this section!!! I have written 4 emails to AMCAS regarding the inefficiency of the system and the frustration it is causing us. If I could sue, my personal frustration could stand in court as mental anguish. I HATE THIS. 😡

IMHO, 15 may be a bit much. Remember, unless it's significant (ie. it helped shape you in some way) i wouldn't include it. i know some people will disagree with me, and if you really have 15+ truly significant experiences, by all means, don't leave them out. just beware of "resume boosting." with all the apps these people see, i'm sure that that kind of thing gets old quickly.
oh, and as for AMCAS pissing you off, rest assured my friend, we all feel your pain.

I agree with all those that find the AMCAS application this year to be such a hassle. I had a look at last years AMCAS-E and it wasnt half as complicated as this. You could do the whole thing offline on a program.

But then they want to get into the new 21st century with a new system. Every single section is a hassle in that application but I've been working on this application for about a month and most of the time thats keeping me from finishing is taken up by my frustration. So I do a little bit and get frustrated and then come back the next day.

To all those that have actually gotten through the hell, congrats... to all those that havent, well my god lets pray theres no more complications

Just a small note.... keep your emails to AMCAS as professional as possible it's apart of the process to stay professional despite adversities.... Although, you can scream all you want in this forum! 😀
