Last time i took the DAT in 2007, alot of the testing centers were giving a marker and markerboard instead of the standard pen and paper for scrap paper. Just wanted to know if that is still the procedure now?

I've heard that they use both methods still.

I prefer the paper and pen myself. You could always contact your testing center to be absolutely certain.

When i took it in Jan, i was given 2 markers, 2 markerboards and a giant eraser (compare to the size of the markerboards :D ).

From speaking to several people who have recently taken their DATs at various locations in the MD/VA/DC area, they all said their locations used markers.
