Hi,
I will be starting school this August, and I had some questions regarding the parking options at Pitt.
I had called the pitt parking office and they said that they would be selling some parking permits for the OC lot starting 15th Aug. To buy one, you need to have your Pitt ID and vehicle registration, but the school wouldn't be able to give me an ID untill I am registered for the classes which would be around 25th Aug.
I want to commute everyday to school, and to be able to get a permit would be a very good thing! Now, they have only 150 parking spaces in the OC lot....and if I go after 25th....there are very less chances of getting one.
So, how do you guys(those of y'all who commute), manage to get parking?? Mrs. Rose said that its not very difficult to find a parking space in the OC lot and we could park over there.
