i personally think the thread closed prematurely..
and i also agree that there was a great deal of drivel...
none-the-less, moderation has become way too extreme in my opinion...
blogs are meant to vent, explicate, iterate, shout, etc... without concern..
apparently, we might have lost the concept*s here..

oh, and it's funny that MDs can close threads that pertain
to PAs/NPs/RNs...etc..

so much for freedom of speech and liberties in the modern world (oops.. blogs i meant i guess)~

I regret attempting to engage those 'Doctors' in discussion of medical matters, they plainly proved their level of ineptitude. I hope somewhere along their travels that they're able to learn how to properly read and process information. I am, however, very thankful to know some excellent Physicians, ones who have proven to be some of my greatest teachers. As I prepare to enter into program curriculum taught by both MDs and PAs, I look forward to whatever level of 'intensity' they have to present to us.

So you need to get this idea out of your head that mid-levels of are some kind of stealth physicians who can do anything real physicians can.... [brevity edit]... Your training is not as "intense" (although I prefer the word "comprehensive") and your extremely useful and much sought-after-niche in the medical world depends on the reality that most of medicine is either strictly bureaucratic (billing, reimbursement, protection from litigation) or relatively simple, often-times not only unnecessary but harmless all around. When you puff yourself up and avow that your limited-but-oh-so-intense training allows you to do eighty percent (or some other arbitrary percentage) of everything a physician can do, well, since sixty percent of my job is bull**** and forty percent of that could be done by an intelligent high school graduate, forgive me for not being impressed. It's that twenty percent that you sort of don't understand.

See my point?

Very WELL written...👍👍👍👍

After reading your previous posts I understand your enthusiasm for your future profession. Your excitement for your new profession doesn't alter the reality of practicing medicine. Panda Bear's last post was SPOT ON....!!!!

Keep learning, and do well,...😉

Have a very PA day...

Starting a new inflammatory thread in response to a previously closed thread is against SDN policy.

I flagged the thread (a non-MD).
