Hi,
I am wondering if anyone here can enlighten me on the expected distribution of the passages of the Bio vs ochem. I have heard that the bio part is much more than ochem now.. just wanted to know how much..please help.. I counted the ones on 4r and orgo has 4 vs bio 11.. Also how much genetics/cell bio stuff are we seeing on the test.?

Bye
Amy

On my particular version of the April MCAT, I had a ton of genetics/biochem and very little organic chem. I believe that other versions had substantial organic chem sections however. If I were you, I would go in to the exam with any expectations. If you do, you are likely to be surprised. Just be ready to answer questions about any topic😉

april 2004 breakdown:

5 Genetics passages
2 Physiology Passages
2 Orgo passages

I had a lot of genetics but the passages weren't solid genetics...just a few questions. I remember maybe 4 ochem passages.
