Hello folks!

If I were accepted into an Irish school (e.g. Royal College Of Surgeons) would there be a means of paying the tuition through a US institution? (Sallie Mae or suchlike)

Suppose i could actually contact them myself and ask, but was wondering if anyone knew from their own experience.

thanks,
David.

just looked on the atlanticbridge website and it seems you can indeed use US loan institutions. Here is the link if anyone is interested:

Has anyone embarking on such a program experienced any difficulties with the available financial aid options?

You can use Stafford and Perkins loans. There's also financial aid available through the IPSP program (www.ipsp.com). You can call atlantic bridge for in depth information. They'll explain the pros and cons and when you should get the loans, strategy, etc. Stafford can only give you so much, then you might have to turn to private loans (bad!)
