Paying off school loans

I was wondering if any of you out there know anything about this..
A friend of mine that is in EM residency told me he had a few offers on the table for when he is done w/ 3rd yr. He mentioned some dollar amounts, and then said he was considering one where they would pay off school loans oved corse of three years.
By the way Quinn, he was offered 250k in TX, and the other offer was comparable, but with loan repayment.
Anybody got the down low?
