PCOM gives preference to PE state residents right? I had thought so so didn't apply, but I found no mention of it on their website just now.

I'm a first year at PCOM and I do think they have an "unofficial" state preferance. A lot of my classmates are from PA. However, I'm from Delaware and others are from elsewhere like NY and Va. Apply, it can't hurt...

I think you are getting PCSOM confused with PCOM. PCSOM is Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky. PCOM is Philly. PCSOM prefers students from Appalachia but has accepted students as far away as Washington. I don't think PCOM has a state preference.

Hey! I'm a PCOM student! I love it
Here's the deal, in my class, I actually counted and figured this out:

Out of 235 students:
135 from PA
23 from NJ
22 from NY
9 from MD
6 from VA
40 others are scattered all over

how's that for a great answer!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh yeah, Pennsylvania is PA not PE
