If I were to purchase this Constellation program and download free isilo texts for specific rotations, would that be sufficient software wise as a med student? Seems like a decent deal.

Bump.

Any recommendations about this software package?

a lot of people recommend 5mcc.

You will probably find you don't use quite a few components of that constellation. Re the isilo textbooks, its generally pretty unsatisfying to read large volumes of text from a PDA.

Some recommendations for med student level (available on PDA):
*Surgery - surgical recall (have not tried the others in this series)
*Medicine - oxford handbook of clinical medicine +/- others in the series
*Use iSiloX (www.isilox.com) to convert any key useful websites to isilo format
*Once you hit the wards (house officer/intern or equivalent) - try the "on call" series

Good luck!

I use Dr. Drugs regularly, although I use ePocrates more often because the dosing is more clearly written.
