I remember hearing somewhere that if PCN causes rashes, it's a Type I hypersensitivity.

If PCN causes anemia, consider it a Type II hypersensitivity..I can't find anything online to corroborate that. Can someone confirm???

Thanks!

it can cause both, and type 3 as well. if a piece of penicillin becomes a hapten, it can attach to the surface of an RBC, causing IgG to hemolyze that RBC. penicillin is also one of the main causes of serum sickness (type 3).
