there's still some hope for UPenn. I've been complete since 9/10, just got an interview invite this morning, 1/26 for an interview date on feb. 6th

Congratulations! :hardy:
Was it an e-mail?
Also, is it reflected on your status page?

it was an email with a link to my status page on the penn website. all the interview scheduling is done online, they had two dates available for me to pick from feb 4th and the 6th. they say they only interview on wednesdays and fridays, although im not sure how many more days are avaiable for interviews. it was a little unclear from the status page...hope this helps answer some questions

The admissions office never ceases to amaze me. Congrats! Feb 4th and Feb 6th are our last interview dates. Who knows when is the latest they might invite people...

i called upenn and they said that they were finishing up their interview invites this week (ending Friday, Jan 30th). still waiting and i've been complete since october....keeping my fingers crossed!

I wonder if they actually go back and look at applications that were submitted early like in september... or would they just finishing up reviewing late app's??

Would anyone actually go to an interview with this little notice? It would probably be $1000 to fly there if you aren't from the area.

Yes, $1000 is definitely worth getting a chance going to a great med school like penn. 😉

almost didn't apply to upenn, almost didn't go to the interview, may end up there if i'm lucky enough to get in. upenn is a legit school, and if anything, reinforced the importance of having ugrad, grad, and prof. schools all on one campus..
