Sorry to digress, but has anyone gotten off of Penn State's pre-interview hold? Seems like they went through a lot of effort for pre-rejection letters...

I called their office today and the nicest person ever, Amber, told me "I can't tell you anything specific but the wait might go until school starts"-about their hold list..basically we're going to have to wait until start of classes to find out... Penn State death hold it is.

Also, considering that many applicants got put on hold post-interview it seems unlikely that many will go past the pre-interview hold...IMO.

If you guys have any questions about Penn State go ahead and send me a message. I am current first year at Penn State. I interviewed in October and then got accepted in December. I do not know much about the waitlist though. Good luck to you all. :luck:

they cant possibly keep everyone on "hold" until school starts. dont they have to give us either a waitlist, accept, or reject come may 15th???

I think at that point "hold" is the waitlist.

This doesn't sound very promising...I interviewed at PSUCOM on Feb. 26, so I'll probably be waiting a while to hear anything. I'm praying I won't be on another hold list, but it sounds likely. I'm already an alternate at Western COMP...and interviewing at LLUSM on Thursday. I'm hoping for good news soon, the wait is killing me :hungover:

Has anyone heard anything from PSUCOM recently? I would like to know what desicions have been sent out...are they still accepting, or is everyone going on this ambiguous hold list? I still have at least a week before I can expect to hear anything. Hope there's good news out there for us.
