Penn State Decision Timeline

Does anyone know how long it will take to receive a decision from Penn State after interviewing? If we interviewed in late September, is there a chance to hear on the 15/16th or would it be more of a 4+ week turnaround time. I didn't get a good sense on interview day how quickly they review applicants.

They told us 6-8 weeks, but it'd be awesome if it were sooner.

6-8 weeks this early in the season seems ridiculous! I was really hoping for a decision sooner.
