Has anyone heard?!?!?! are they going to make us wait the full 8 weeks? what a bummer! 🙁

this is week 5 for me... i thought he told us if we hadn't heard anything in 8 weeks to call... i'm just anxious cuz i like the school!

I haven't heard anything. I interviewed 9/19. When I called the woman on the phone was incomprehensible, saying something about the adcom meeting every 6-8 weeks, but then saying that there are 4 different committees and one meets every month. I really couldn't get any info out of her. I guess we'll just have to wait 🙂

Anyone interview on 10-12 (2 weeks ago)? I also heard that the admissions committee would meet on 10-14 to go over acceptances. Hopefully we will all get a (good) response soon.

Who knows. But people who interviewed a month before you still haven't heard. If they had a meeting on 10/14, it seems like they would have sent some mail by now to those of us who interviewed in mid-September, right? I don't know, I asked the woman in the admissions office when the committee had last met or would meet next and she refused to tell me.

Tomorrow will be six weeks for me 😕 . Everyday I go to the mailbox looking for a thick or thin envelope with the PSU logo on it and still nothing. The suspense is driving me crazy 😱 .

me: Sorry to bother you, but do you happen to know when the first admissions decisions will be sent out?

PSU woman: Have you already interviewed?

me: Yes, I have interviewed.

PSU woman: Okay, it takes 4 to 6, or 6 to 8, weeks.

me: Um, okay. But do you happen to know when the first decisions will go out.

PSU woman: No, I don't know that.

me: Okay, thanks. Bye.

I almost don't want the decision to come. Penn State was my only interview so far and I really loved the school.
