I don't know anyone at Penn State, and I was wondering if anyone knew what makes this school different from other schools, if anyone has interviewed there, if the area nearby is nice, etc. I've been combing through their website, but I'm not able to learn anything special about this school.

Don't worry about what makes THEM special. Be more concerned about convincing them that there is something special about you.
