I was fortunate to have been accepted to multiple schools and have narrowed my list down to these 3. Buffalo is about 12k cheaper than Temple over the 4 years. Temple and Penn are both very close to home which is awesome. Penn is the most expensive option and I am not sure if I want to specialize. Any thoughts on these schools?

Not only is tuition cheap, but you will save a lot of money with the cheap cost of living in Buffalo. The school is also know for its clinical reputation so you will leave the school a great clinician. Just work hard and you can specialize anywhere.

I recommend you not picking a school based on specialization rate. Schools like Penn are known to have some of top students in the nation who are very competitive and work hard to specialize. That is why there is a high specialization rate

Thanks for your response! I am leaning towards general dentistry for now so I am not sure if I want to specialize.

If you are leaning towards general dentistry, I think Buffalo is a great option! But if you think you might have any "what if's" in the future, then pursue wherever your heart desires. You cannot go wrong with any of your options. You will leave any of those schools a great dentist, but your life will be a lot easier with the less debt you have
