Hi just thought that BU housing search could be made easier if all the BU Advanced Standing, Masters & CAGS students who are searching for apartments and rooms, get together here and can get to know each other so they can room with the right person.

I've been here for 2 weeks now and its really tough finding the right apt. and getting it near the school or even around downtown boston.

I'm looking to share an apt. but want my own room.

Hope this thread helps!!

Cheers.

No place to stay...at Boston... 🙁 Help

hi guys,
i too am an advanced standing student of 2006 class .
so ,while i was searching for housing at BU,i gathered this info.hope this will be of some use to u.
1] www.cjapts.com [617-282-7533] :these are harbor point apts.3 of us r planning to share an apt in this.If interested more apts are still available.
Adv :reasonable rent[1300$],quite spacious
Dis adv: 15-20 min bus commute to dental school which may be difficult during winter.
2] http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate?a=vccbc&name=02118&x=19&y=12 02118 is college zip code .so these apts r around college
3}http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/vccbc/vccbc/MA/Boston/15/_n_/zip/2/boston_more_15.html

apts in south end are supposed to be very close to dental school.[walkable distance]
4]apts are also available in main campus i believe, but the catch is somebody must see them before signing the apt.just to avoid future problems.rent is around 1800 for 2 BR apt[do not include utilities]Please note:rent may vary depending on the apts.call off campus 617-353-3511 ,to know about these apts..........

Thanks.I have arranged for a place to stay.
take care
