Without giving a whole lot of details at this point (other than one of the givens is that you're licensed because you've completed internship plus quite a bit more), I have 2 questions about this. In anyone's experience or in stories that you've heard . . .

1. How do the programs respond (how is it handled, notice, etc.)?

2. What do those who quit do next (success stories, career changes, debt, etc.)?

Not really seeking advice (we've pretty much made up our minds and feel very good, calm, excited, confident, and liberated and we have some great career ideas that fit with our family anyway--more on this later, I promise). Thanks for your input.

So does the lack of responses mean it's that uncommon? We don't personally know more than one person who has done it.

Quit and start working at an urgent care center. That should provide some income.
