Hello future pharmacists,

What was the best practice PCAT book(s) you have used?

Does GRE verbal section practice help? any feed back on this section.

I posted this twice . now I can't delete it. Sorry for the confusion.

For what it's worth, you might want to look at the attention 90+ PCAT post about 7 or 8 down from your post (as I write this). I personally used Kaplan's because it was cheaper when I bought it then anything else. I liked the way they went over the generic part, but I found it lacking in the vocabulary area and the calculus area.

To make up the vocabulary, the FAQ pinned to the top, suggests the GRE top 200, so I'd borrow a GRE prep book from the library. I would also suggest a series called 30 days to a more powerful vocabulary. I remember 3 distinct books, though I read them in highschool (89/90 time frame) so they might have changed.

I would strongly suggest you look at the FAQ and the 90+ PCAT people post, they both have a lot of good information in them.
