hi,
i have a problem with my dental degree.i am from india and the university hasnt issued the degree yet..i have applied in a few schools and when i call them up to confirm they tell me they are short of original dental degree...
i sent notarised copies of provisional degree and also the dental life registration certificate along with my application.....
but it seems like the schools only want the permanent dental degree....
are any of u in my situation?is it common to recieve the degree after quite a while after graduating?
am worried......

hi anjali
i had the same problem last year.when i applied to schools, all the schools nyu, uopand ucsf sent a letter saying that my application is incomplete and i have to send them the pemanent degree.atlast i managed to get my degree but it was too late.so send someone to ur university pay them money and get the degree.but i think one of my senior managed to get into BU in 2003 and he promised them to produce the degree at the time of admission.

hi mandakki,
oh my god......i dont know when i will recieve my degree...well its been nearly 8 months from when i graduated and i still dont have my degree...what a pity that i passed out of such a university.........yeah as u said i will try to send someone immediately and also pay them if needed...........

when are you expecting your degree anajali?and why haven't you received your degreee yet?

I was in the same boat earlier. The only university that is little flexible on the actual degree cert is Boston. Remaining univ (in the ones I applied, UOP, UCLA, UCSF, LomaLinda) say its a must to have the final diploma.

everything can be managed by money, send a friend to your university regestar, pay him some money and he will be more than happy to do it for you.
