so I start my vacation in a week.

I'd like to get a jump start on my personal statement.

Are there any guidelines provided by ERAS? Word limits? Topics to cover? Or it's just freeform-do-whatever-you-please?

Such as "Why I want to go into this field?"

IIRC, there's no "topic" or "prompt." It's a personal statement - so it's up to you to talk about why you want to do Derm, what you've accomplished in med school, what experiences influenced you, etc.
