Personal Statements

Hey guys,

I have a couple of questions.
1)How important are personal statements?
2)Would a mediocre gpa and mcat, but an outstanding personal statement get you into med school?

I would say it's probably last on the list of important things. Your interview is probably what would get you accepted with a mediocre GPA and MCAT if anything.....good luck.....

megkudos is right, the interview is much more important. however, with mediocre GPA and MCAT, you will need a good essay to get you that interview...
