petitioning for later interview date at georgetown?

hey all~

i was wondering if anyone has tried petitioning for a later interview date at georgetown. they asked me to come up within the next two weeks, which is right during finals & spring break, and apparently i have petition to the admissions committee to go at a time outside of the 'time frame' on the letter. just wondering if they'll probably say yes to the petition, or if i should try to squeeze in an interview in the next week.

I would try and squeeze it in. A petition might work, but at this late stage in the process, a later interview would put you at a disadvantage in terms of admissions. ie, if you wait, more spots in the class will be filled and competition for remaining spots would be tougher. or the class might be entirely filled and you would be interviewing for at best a spot on the waitlist.
