Anybody know why the ISP for anesthesia decreased this year?

If you looked at Navy Times, yeah, that's wrong.
I don't recall it going down. I have it at work, will check tomorrow.

No change ... the current pay table lists $36K.

The MSP+ISP rates didn't change this year either.
- ISP with a MSP contract is $50K
- MSP is $25K (2 year), $40K (3 year) or $60K (4 year)
These are additive, so a 4 year MSP+ISP is $110K/year.

Roughly speaking, right out of residency a military anesthesiologist should make around $130-150K depending on BAH and O3 vs O4 rank. Most will be O4 or O5 with 8+ years service by the time they're eligible for the MSP+ISP, so at that point total pay ought to be around $250K assuming the 4 year deal.

Then there's ECISP, which appears to be $69K for a 4-year concurrent commitment (eligible within 18 months of completing ADSO).
