Virginia Commonwealth University - PGY-1 Ob/Gyn Resident Position​

PGY-1 position available starting July 1, 2021 (with GME orientation beginning June 21, 2021). For detailed information about our program, please see our website at Residency - VCU School of Medicine. All applicants must be within four years of graduation from medical school or direct patient care activity, either as an independent practitioner or as a trainee. Only applicants with completed packets will be reviewed and considered for an opportunity to interview. Candidates selected to interview will be contacted via email, and interviews will be conducted virtually.

• Cover letter describing your interest in our program and how you hope to contribute as a member of our team
• A copy of your complete ERAS application (including your CV, personal statement, MSPE, final medical school transcript, letters of recommendation, and photo); if you are hoping to transfer from another specialty or transition from a preliminary position, please include your PGY-1 application
• If you are transferring from another program, please include three letters of recommendation with one being from your current Program Director stating that you are a resident in good-standing and expected to complete your PGY-1 year by June 2021 as well as your medical school diploma
• USMLE/COMPLEX score reports for parts 1 and 2 (with no failed attempts)
• If you are transferring from another program, please include your USMLE/COMLEX 3 score report or scheduled date
