We are currently seeking applicants for an Integrated-Interventional Radiology PGY-3 (R2) position to begin training July/August 2022 with Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.
The Kaiser Permanente Vascular & Interventional Radiology program is a five-year ACGME-accredited program, dedicated to training highly motivated residents and providing comprehensive clinical care from head to toe. Our VIR division offers a broad array of procedural opportunities for our trainees with exposure to diverse patient populations and disease processes. Residents will gain unparalleled hands-on experience and teaching of advanced interventional procedures including aortic, peripheral arterial disease, interventional oncology, pain, neuro-, pediatric, women’s health, and GI/GU interventions. Residents participate in at least one-half day of clinic per week allowing them to follow patients long-term and manage their disease throughout their 5 years of training. Our VIR department averages 2,000 inpatient consultations, 500 hospital admissions and sees approximately 5,000 patients in our outpatient clinic annually. We currently have 1 VIR resident per year with a total of 12 faculty members which include 9 peripheral interventionalist and 3 neuro-interventionalists, allowing for a high faculty to resident ratio.
Successful completion of a PGY-2 (R1) year in an ACGME-accredited program is required. However, talented and driven residents at other levels will be considered. Applicants with a California Medical License are preferred.
Qualified applicants, please email the following documents to Residency Recruiter - Yvette Montano [email protected]:
