As I said before, I picked my program primarily for the program and not the length. I would have gone there even if it was only 3 years. Actually, that might not be quite true. My wife really wanted to stay in NYC one more year and the 234 I went to allowed me to do my internship in the city, so I might have moved another 234 up on my rank list for that reason

I would have gone to my residency program if the location, residents, and faculty remained the same
