I have been a member of SDN for a very long time (under a different name). The only reason I created a new name is simply because my residency program would be inundated with phone calls and emails from unqualified candidates if I did not. This way I can evaluate candidates and contact qualified ones without our phone system and email becoming clogged up.

This is a very legitimate offer, which we need to fill, and qualified candidates will hear back from us.

Why are there so many PGY 2 positions available and not PGY1? It is rather annoying and disappointing to realize that one can be continuously short-handed opportunities while people are squandering away valuable chances to further their medical careers. Sent by a dreamchaser.
