Are you serious? Solve for x in a single variable equation is elementary school math.
 
The OP was not asking to be called stupid, he was asking for help. SDN is not the place for homework assistance, but if you would like to PM me I'd be more than happy to guide you through this problem.
 
In retrospect my post probably sounded mean. I meant it in a helpful way. If you can setup a proportion you can solve this problem. It was meant as a hint as to how I would solve it.

x = grams of drug X
12% of 5,000 g = 600 g

(x + 600 g) / (x + 5,000 g) = 32% = 0.32
x + 600 = 0.32x + 1600
0.68x = 1000
x = 1470.59
