Pharmacy technician in hospital

What are the requirements to get a pharm tech job at hospital? I'am a certified tech at CVS for 3 years. Do I need to get the IV certification?

Most hospitals will only hire techs that have prior hospital experience but that depends on location, number of applicants, etc. I've hired techs in the past with only retail experience but they interviewed well and seem to pick up things quickly. If hired, they will train you if you will be mixing IVs.
