What is the important factor?

If you are a pre-pharmacy student and earn excellent grades in organic chemistry(1&2with labs), you have a good chance of admission despite the overall picture of your application(just make sure the overall picture is medicore). That is my viewpoint. I am sure current/soon-to-be pharmd students can add their own viewpoints.

Not necessarily. I know 3 of my classmates who made Cs on both semesters of orgo chem and lab and still got in.

In our school, it seems as though the PCAT score is the most important, followed by the GPA. If both of these look good (PCAT>85 and GPA>3.4), then the candidate will most likely get a seat in the class.
