Hey everyone!
I recently decided that I want to become a clinical neuropsychologist and I have a few questions about the process of becoming one. I always planned on going to medical school, but with my career goals I know that getting a PhD or PsyD is the way to go. However, i'm not super familiar with these degrees. I know a PhD is more research based and a PsyD is more clinically based, but which would be better if I want to mainly focus on clinical neuropsych with some research on the side? Also, I know most PhD programs pay their student's stipends, is this also true for PsyD programs? Any other information you have on this subject will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance for your responses!
