Hi,

I'm interested in possibly taking a year off and doing a howard hughes medical student fellowship in the phoenix area. Does anyone know any especially chill research mentors in the area or anyone doing any especially interesting directly medically related research topic?

Hey!

I'm from the Phx area, went to school in Tucson and did 3 years of research. While my previous lab doesn't have any openings right now, I would suggest looking around TGen, The translational genomics research institute. They have tons of stuff going down and are moving into a NICE facility in downtown Phx.
