Virginia
1) Central Virginia foot hills. Non-Interventional Physiatry – DO would be great . If they wish to do EMGs, they must be board certified (or will commit to same). This person will be part of the spine center (two interventional physiatrists, one fwsp trained spine, one sports trained who does some spine). We love the DO manipulations potential. This person will provide access for our patients who have acute spine issues (we have no ability to provide access- we are too full). This person will be partnered with our Sports Trained PC doctor who provides access for all of our acute MSK issues. These two people will really allow us to meet our community need. The acute MSK portion of our practice aspires to provide extended hours every day to minimize patient reliance on the ED and to facilitate more efficient dx, treatment and return to activities. Large 14 physician ortho group needs PMR to see patients treat, refer. Non-interventional being an integral part of a spine clinic. They have 2 spine srgs, 2 interventionalists, and a PA in the clinic. This is not a screen and push to surgery type arrangement. You would keep the patient if you can help them. EMGs can be done, but you will need boards for them. They have a PCP Sports med physician that has just started. Base negotiable with bonus benefits and shareholder option.

2) Richmond, Virginia I have an ortho group looking for a Physiatrist. They are based in. Here is what they say about their needs:We are interested in a generalist that is interested in mainly doing all out patient spine. He would work in the spine team seeing lots of patients with back and neck problems. Do conservative management and diagnostic work up. He would not be doing the emgs as that is my role and not be doing the interventional spine injections since we have other physiatrists for that. He would not be doing the long term opioid pain management. Just lots of patients each day, screening for surgery and working closely with the surgeons more than the other physiatrists.Start Salary range would be $200-250 ( full time) area depending on experience but there is a bonus structure to make more even in first year or two if brings in more money than salary. 3 years to partner with no buy in. Or could stay a salaried employee without ever becoming a partner. Partners keep at least 50% of their collections and are not salaried.
