physical: humus and water testing??

    weird passage.

    had that K ratio ~ 1/DIC

    what were they testing exactly? water samples

    did a higher concentration = lower K?

    They were testing water samples. higher K meant higher binding affinity. that is all I can remember now. But the passage was very doable . . . not until met the physics streak which stole my time and made me finish last minute as well as guess on 7 or so questions.
