I am torn as to which source to use for physics and gen. chem; Princeton or EK?

Why not both?

I used both. PR definitely covered everything, and EK was good practice. But EK also had some extremely challenging questions that I just skipped.

using both works. you will have peace of mind and can decide to use one more than the other as you progress.

I used EK exclusively until the last 4-6 weeks and then used kaplan and text books to supplement PS.
