I saw a thread about abortion in a PS, so I thought I'd ask something along the same vein. My mother has run hospices since before I was born. When I was in high school, she became an executive at a non-profit advocating for physician-assisted suicide. My question is, can I talk about this in my interviews and personal statement? This is a decisive issue and I don't want to alienate my interviewers/ adcoms. End-of-life care is something that I care a lot about. I volunteered in her hospice since I was a child and Im now volunteering/working on a large palliative care project. However, I've avoided helping at compassion and choices because I've been concerned about the affect it may have. What does everyone think?
