Anyone know anything about Steward Health Care? It appears like they are a physician owned corporation and not an SDG like we’d all hope to be stealing contracts from private equity, but at least physicians are in leadership positions. Perhaps this will start a trend in a positive direction.

Steward was owned by Cerberus Management which coincidentally just got 400 million from the government to not close any of its hospitals.

I’m an anesthesiologist, don’t assume physicians can run things any better. Some can be just as cutthroat as private equity “suits.” At least you know what you’re getting if you join a large corporation...
