Rather than looking at "surveys" of physician income, check out this recruitment site I recently found, <a href="http://www.physicianrecruiting.com" target="_blank">www.physicianrecruiting.com</a> ! You can look at current openings in various specialties! Also, keep in mind that starting salaries do not take into account the issue of production bonuses. I would also urge people to look at specialty specific websites that have job opportunities posted. These are just the jobs that are advertised. There are many more lucrative jobs that are not advertised, but word of mouth opportunities. Medicine is a small world.
