Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of an easy way to remember the "negatives" and "positives" for the object and image distances for lenses/mirrors. Thanks!!

Focal length: + converging , - for diverging
Object distance: + if object is on the left side on the lens, - if on the right side
Image distance: + for real images, - for virtual images

Just write these on couple flashcards if its difficult for you to memorize and just look at them everyday.
