A particle moves along path C at a constant speed of 1 m/s. What is the avg. acceleration of the particles as it moves from position 1 to position 2. Path C is a projectile in motion kind of path.. where it's only half a circle..
so far i know that avg acceleration is change in velocity divided by time. I can find time.. but according to EK 1001 question 26 on page 3 Chapter 1. since it's 1m/s up and 1m/s down..the change in velocity is 2 m/s ? how can this be..can someone please help me..thanks a lot

I really don't understand the question, but if I was to guess...The change is velocity is 2m/s because the change=1m/s-(-1m/s)= 2m/s
I may be way off. I hope that remotely was what you were asking. If not oops :scared:
