whats good for physics review? i don't want a textbook. i need something thats really good. i took it like 4 years ago, so i reallllly can't say i remember much..i hate physics so i really want to get something thats not too dry. 😳

any suggestions???

ExamKrackers' physics review book is good. It only teaches physics relative to the MCAT, and does so in a way that is common-sense and easy to do in your head.

I really preferred the physics section out of the Kaplan Comprehensive review book---it explains things really well. The practice problems suck though--they are way too detailed and complex.

I agree about the Kaplan comprehensive physics review. It presents many of the basic principles in physics and does so in an easy manner. Most of the problems are way more complex and involved than anything you would ever find on the MCAT. My favorites are the Newtonian physics problems that require you to find 3 variables using the kinematic equations before you can actually solve the question.

On the other side, if you can do these problems then you will think any physics problems on the MCAT are easy, which can lead to that wonderful feeling of anxiety because the question may have seemed too easy. That being said, I would have to go with EK in terms of simplicity and relevance to the MCAT.
