This question is more geared towards Oxford students, but anyone from the UK's opinions will be appreciated as well.

Of the courses in pediatrics and ob/gyn, which was the better one?

MANY many thanks for an answer!

Definetely Paeds. Good teaching, well organised. OG is not well taught, refuses to give a syllabus or guidance on what to study and can be frustrating due to clashes with midwifery students.

PAEDS! PAEDS! PAEDS!! (just in case you misunderstood, it is paeds:)

Paeds boasts with a new hospital, very nice and approachable consultants that are very keen to teach, and a bunch of smart and friendly juniors that are happy to answer your questions and give you short tutorials whilst in the A&E or oncall.

O&G is good, but people are overworked and underpaid, stressed out and far more concerned with keeping head above water than teaching medical students. Having said that, there are good consultants and good junior keen to teach there, too, but it is more difficult given pressures put on them by the system.
