Everytime I think I have made up my mind someone talks me out of it. I need answers..Which school has more prestige? What school provides a better edu.? Which city is more fun to live in? Is it worth saving 35,000 and and going to buffalo? PLease let me know what you think.

haha I know EXACTLY what you are going through. I'm about to flip a coin as well between Michigan and Buffalo... except with my choices it's about a 100K difference not just 35K. Good luck with your decision.

Buffalo all the way! I don't know much about PITT but I do know Buffalo has a great rep and is one of the top clinical schools in the country. As far as fun factor Buffalo undergrad is a pretty big party school so you can go out and get boozed up Mon.-Sun. if you feel the need. Also, that 35k is a good down payment on a Ferrari in a few years 😎 Good luck making your decision.

i actually got into buffalo but ended up choosing a different school. my friend goes there, and isn't happy. his unhappiness mainly stems from the location and weather. There is an undergrad, but he makes it seem like it sucks being in buffalo as far as having fun and having a single life. IMHO Pitt definitely has a bigger prestige factor, and may help you match into the place or specialty u want. I didn't think these things really mattered in the past, but in retrospect i think they do... especially if u want to be hooked up with good research to get into a difficult specialty. UB definitely has the cost going for it. Going to a private school myself though, i think in the end you should go to the place you feel will get u where u want to be, the costs differences in the end are really small. just my two cents 🙂

Dental school is what you make it out to be? The education is up to you not the school, so it is somewhat of a pointless question as to which school will teach you better. You could go to Michigan and bust your butt and get all As or you could go to Buffalo and slack off.

Go to which ever school makes you feel more comfortable. Comfort I think will make it easier on doing well.
