placing an NG tube on a patient with extensive burns to the face/neck ?

Would you place an NG tube (for enteral nutrition) on a patient with extensive burns to the face(to includ the nasal passages, presumably)/neck ?

MKSAP seems to think so. No concerns for further trauma/infection caused by NG tube? Would you not prefer a jejunal route?
